Cautions & Contraindications
Iron supplementation not recommended in patients with haemochromatosis. Not for treatment of iron deficiency conditions. Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet. Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.
Medication Interactions
If using with ACE inhibitors, levodopa/carbidopa, quinolone/tetracycline antibiotics, L-thyroxine, antacids, H2-receptor antagonists, PPIs, cholestyramine, penicillamine or sulfasalazine, your absorption may be reduced. Take medications 2 hours before or 4-6 hours after iron.
