Dosage

Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 to 4 times daily, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.

 

Cautions & Contraindications

  • Caution in pregnancy and lactation.
  • May cause hyperaesthesia in some sensitive individuals especially when combined with high exposure to sunlight.
  • Not advisable in cases of known photosensitivity and in those taking photosensitising drugs.
  • Schisandra may accelerate clearance of drugs from the body; caution is advised for patients taking drugs with a narrow therapeutic window (e.g., warfarin and digoxin).
  • St John's Wort affects the way some prescription medicines work; concurrent administration of high doses is contraindicated with certain drugs.
  • Consume at least 2 hours away from ingestion of mineral supplements.
  • Discontinue use 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
  • If symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
